Choose What Happens When Someone Comments
For each watched post, select one of three ready-made actions:
- Import Only — capture the commenter without sending a response.
- Respond with Comment — publish the public reply you provide.
- Respond with Comment and DM — publish your reply and send your prepared private message.
The app captures the person’s available name and social ID even when they do not supply an email address.

Comment Responder supports Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
On Facebook, it can watch posts on Pages, personal profiles, groups, and events — the places where valuable comments are easy to miss after the day a post was published.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this only work on Facebook?
No. It supports Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X. Facebook support includes Page, personal-profile, group, and event posts.
Does it create the original post?
No. It monitors and responds to comments on a post that already exists. Publishing is provided by the free Social Posting app you can find in the menu.
Does the commenter have to provide an email address?
No. The app captures the available name and social ID supplied by the social platform.
Can I write my own responses?
Yes. You provide the public comment and private-message text used by the selected ready-made action. More advanced custom automations are available in broader Social Attaché plans.
Do I provide my social passwords?
No. You never provide your social passwords to Social Attaché.
What happens if my computer is asleep?
One Social Attaché app or extension must be available for social actions to run. If none is available, the system picks up where it left off when one becomes available again.
